Ravens Vail Podcast
Ravens Vail is a dark fantasy horror anthology podcast set in the shadowy world of the Deep South. A convergent reality situated around what most of humanity has accepted as the truth. Obscured from human eyes, Ravens Vail is a mystical sanctuary intended to preserve the existence of its immortal inhabitants. The Mekori, commonly referred to as witches, have been hunted since before written history. The witches of the Highlands fled persecution to a new land that would come to be known as Appalachia. From the white-sand beaches of the South Carolina coast to the lush green valleys of East Tennessee, there are stories of unnatural creatures roaming around these parts. Hiding in the darkness, waiting for just the right time to… well, maybe we shouldn’t be scaring the youngins like that! It’s like the old folk tell us it’s just smart to always be leery of the things that scare witches. The veil is thin tonight, family. Join us to see what darkness lies beyond! The story, names, characters, and incidents this podcast depicts are fictional. Any resemblance to actual persons (living or deceased) is purely coincidental.

I’ve been called a Pollyanna and a sugarcoated idealist. I like to think of myself as more optimistic than that. I like peanut butter and cheeseburgers! I’m the illegitimate love child of strategy and creativity. Unfortunately, neither admits to having me…
In my private life, I reside in KnoxVegas with my husband Jeryd, where I enjoy the role of father, son, brother, friend, writer, and social activist. I’ve been called an extrovert’s-extrovert and a geek all in the same breath and was flattered. One of my most extraordinary talents is binge-watching nerdy science and quasi-science documentaries like Ancient Aliens or Planet Earth. I love playing Dungeons and Dragons, riding my longboard, mindlessly watching Tik Tok’s, and sitting by a cozy bonfire telling ghost stories.
As a native of East Tennessee, I grew up in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, hearing all the old ghost stories spun about, what some have called, the most sinister and cursed land in the United States. From the macabre Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in Petros to the chilling Alexander Inn in Oak Ridge, those stories began my life-long love affair with all things scary and haunted. Now it’s my time to spin some tales of my own. I invite you to visit the world of Ravens Vail, my dark fantasy horror anthology podcast coming soon to where ever you get your favorite podcasts.
